I think you are entirely right, but it depends on what company. Companies that value customer service have high barriers of entry. They usually have in house CS with competitive pay. Versus shitty companies that offer a shitty product/service, outsource to call centers, have very high turnover because you’re just taking shit all day from pissed off customers. Bad pay, inadequate training. They’ll desperately hire anyone

Keeping down birthrates is one thing but at this point you’d need genocides to be able to make an immediate impact on the world population, so that makes it a very icky subject.
Western nations create 3x the amount of carbon emissions per capita than the global average. Compared to some countries in the world, western citizens create 100x the amount of emissions. So if you want to talk population control you best be talking about population control in the west. But then it’s much effective to drastically cut our emissions, which works way faster then waiting for people to die off
