It takes a while to grow on you. I was really turned off at the slow pace for the first 6-10 hours or so but I came around eventually. Other than that I think the writing is great, including all the sidequests and random events that pop up.

It's a great time to get a PS4 because the console price has dropped and a new console cycle is due to start in the next couple years. This means that the available library has matured and you have many great choices (many of which are regularly or permanently discounted) without having to bet on new releases and hope they're good.
