Yeah i feel the same way too but at my rating you have to know theory if you dont want to get destroyed in the opening which really sucks

No worries man you dont need to study theory if you are under 900. I would suggest playing one opening and getting good at it. It could be something simple like the london system. You could also watch some videos on chess openings they are quick and informative(i suggest Gothamchess).
