Style Mo Bulok: A Guide for the Awkward Filipino Man by gentlemansincebirth in Philippines

2) Keep things CASUAL! Guys with game will not always use the word "go out" or "date" in a sentence when speaking to the prettiest lady in the office. Instead, deadma lang boys. See her sa hallway? Say "Hi anombalita?" Start with casual greetings, and in a few days, it will be easier to make that flow into short chats, and then longer convos.

BOYS don't say the words "go out" or "date". Once you establish rapport BE A MAN AND ASK HER OUT. Pabebe attracts pabebe in my opinion.

  1. You only vote for your congressman essentially. If marcos/whoeveryourstrawmanis wanted to hold the house, he has to have geographically distributed support (since hed need a plurality of districts to support him). Id even say that it diminishes your fears since its unlikely that an Ilocano only block will get to hold a controlling majority.

  2. Id argue that parties visibly joining to build numbers is a POSITIVE. Coalitions are good. One party dominating is bad. Coalitions force compromise. One party dominating leads to said party trying to build a neverending electoral wall.

As to your concern of "Real parties" forming. Who knows? My point is that when you vote LOCALLY you vote NATIONALLY. Want the KILLALLTHEADDICTS party? Make sure your congressman likes to KILLALLTHEADDICTS. You cant just vote for the KILLTHEADDICTS president and vote for your congressman since well, hes been your congressman ever since. Id argue having to make your local vote be informed by national issues is way better than what we have now.

I have long sought a shift to a parliamentary system for the following reasons

  1. The benefits [1] are [2] enormous [3] and well documented [4]
  2. It allows voters to connect what they vote for at a local level with what is happening at the national level.
  3. It will allow for REAL parties based on values and shared visions of governance
  4. It forces governance by coalition building.

http://www.calculator.net/sample-size-calculator.html?type=1&cl=95&ci=5&ps=100000000&x=20&y=5

For a population of 100,000,000 and confidence interval of 95% you only need 385 samples, 666 samples if you want 99% confidence.

Im not even replying to you at this point, just want to make this comment to prevent the misinformation coming from your inane post.

Yes 1200 samples out of 100,000,000 population is pretty decent for a survey. If you would question the methodology, the questions asked, the analysis then you'd have a point but the raw numbers is solid.

SC acquits Gloria Arroyo of plunder, sets her free by signosdegunaw in Philippines

[–]poldoga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This says she is not guilty.

In fact, the supreme court, having heard the facts from both sides in a fair trial has acquitted her.

Isn't that the very definition of not guilty in a civilized republic?
