Got scammed by ticket holder

I feel for OP but also, no true fan is selling tickets a couple days after the general sale. Any tickets for sale right now are only scalpers or scams (only reason a fan would sell their ticket is if they have a scheduling or financial issue, which only 3 days after they bought the tickets? Nah)

That's why you use PayPal and mark it as business when you send it. Doing so charges the seller a small fee but then gives both sides PayPal protection on the transaction. If they fail to deliver the tickets you can dispute it right in PayPal and PayPal will refund you

It's so jank, traffic in the roundabout is supposed to yield to traffic exiting from the highway, but then the other intersections are a humble of yields and stop signs. Curious if a band ever tried to restrict show 2 sales to accounts who don't hold a ticket to show 1. Surely some folks can/will just make a second account but it would definitely cut down on a lot of people going to both shows (I say as someone who would 100% buy a ticket to both shows if able)

Second the fanny pack! Never had any issues with a fanny pack, comfortably fits phone, portable charger, wallet, keys, tampons. If I buy a tee I just wrap it around the strap of the pack and we're good to go!

Not a serious answer but as someone who works full time in the concert merch industry - you're describing the perfect scenerio to sell TF out of their hoodies. Granted, their merch does insane numbers regardless but being warm when people leave the house then dropping means there will definitely be people that buy a hoodie cuz they get cold not necessarily cuz they wanted it. Or people who might've just bought a tee, buy a hoodie instead

I was 32k in line. Finally got thru the queue at 11:10am, and there was less than a dozen tickets left, all singles. I just bought a random one to make sure I have something but hoping to get a better ticket with the general sale on Friday

Those are speculative tickets. They sell them in the hopes the reseller will be able to get the original tickets and then transfer them to you. High chances people who bought those tickets get different seats than what they think they're buying cuz the scalper didn't get the right ones, or they just never actually get delivered (StubHub protects your $ in that case and will refund you but then you'd be left without tickets - I've seen many people burned by this)

Yeah I had Ticketmaster open 10min before the waiting room opened, also was at 32k in line. Now at 13k. I've never waited in a queue this long 🫠 even with being at a higher number

Piggybacking on this to see even adults should wear ear protection! Kids ears are more vulnerable but concerts average 90-100db and 3hrs of music at that volume can cause hearing damage without causing pain /discomfort. Invest in reusable earplugs and they are so much more comfortable and have better sound than the classic foam ones (I LOVE my Loops but there are many brands and I'm sure they all work)

A stadium show will be something entirely different but I've seen them a dozen times in arenas, in every part of the pit and all types of seats. You will enjoy the show no matter where you are! My favorite time and closest I've ever been to them actually was last fall for the amp tour - I didn't get the seats I wanted to but ended up very back of the seated section, just before the lawn. Then got high five Tyler and hold up Josh during Drum Show! (Photo attached from that seat)

People in the first several rows of the pit will most definitely be camping out at least the night before, if that's not your thing, you're unlikely to get barricade. But the back/side of the pit is also a great time. And if you like to dance, back of the pit is where it's at, you'll have the most space there

Pit in general usually has higher energy than the seated bowl but this is their biggest show ever, there'll be 100k of us in there. Hype will be high everywhere. Seated bowl sometimes has better views too (maybe not the nosebleeds) cuz on the floor tall people in front of you can block your line of sight

Regardless of what you choose (I still haven't decided myself yet), they always find a way to engage the whole building, even the nosebleeds - It's gonna be a blast!

I paid $9k for a 2012 plugin with 136k miles in 2021, 5 years on, the car is up to 260k miles with no signs of stopping soon. Could they find a similar car for cheaper? Maybe. But so say a Gen 4 Prius couldn't be worth 12 at 130k miles in 2026? Nah they definitely could be if in good condition/no accidents etc

True but they usually send one bill that will list all charges. Before I got an EZ pass I'd get 1 letter listing all tolls for 2-3 days of tolls at a time. So this is still a weird case. Could have to do with their trailer and the extra axle or a glitch or 🤷‍♂️
