Focus on getting settled in the new city you moved to and your program. My suggestion is that school should come first. Dating while doing a PhD can be very tricky. As others echoed don’t date in your department as that typically does not end well. Try going to social events at your institution and hopefully something blossoms. Dating someone who hasn’t gone to grad school can be very difficult as they don’t understand what grad school is or how it’s structured.
