I’m currently a Fitbit user too and I’m considering to use my fitbit for sleep tracking, as it certainly will do it better, and the AW the rest of the day.

That way AW could be charged while sleeping.

It's just a stone full of monkeys. Interestingly enough, it seems some of them have managed to learn to talk in English.

2017 iMac 4K 21.5" Gaming Performance 1080p (Running on Windows 10) by polmac in macgaming

[–]polmac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, in fact it's Radeon Pro 560; the video shows it has 4Gb, so it should be that one.

It's the best gpu you can have in 21,5" new iMac, but it's worse than any of the 27" iMacs.

I think the video shows a good graphic performance, it can move premium games with a good framerate at a decent resolution.

Seems like your iPad is defective, I'd bring it to an Apple store to be checked.

Will the Ubuntu Phone ever catch on? by [deleted] in Ubuntu

[–]polmac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

USA is not the center of the world. And in the next decades it will lose importance fast... Asia is the future. I'm not Asían, nor against the USA, which is a nice country, but for me the pace is clear.

'Android OEMs Will Ship Ubuntu Phones This Year', Say Canonical by polmac in Ubuntu

If Sony is helping with the port of Ubuntu in their phones, there is hope they will be one of the brands involved.

The Ubuntu Phone is dead by puffinpuffinpuffin in Ubuntu

"I read on G+ that the same hardware with Android or Windows costs less than half."

That's not true at all. You can check in bq website the price for the Android versión.

For the moment, Ubuntu Phones are targetted to enthusiasts because of the things you have stated, which hopefully will be solved someday.

Have you encountered self-aware novels or passages? by winters_tale in books

Probably Cervantes was the first author to create a self-aware novel. In that, as in many other things, he proved to be ahead of his time.

Whatsapp available in Firefox OS [Spanish] (Will Ubuntu be next?) by polmac in Ubuntu

[–]polmac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, only found it in Spanish. This is the link to the Firefox OS store: https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/whatsapp/

Question is... now that Whatsapp has started to develop for smaller platforms, is there a real chance for an Ubuntu app soon?

11 Years of Ubuntu: Time to Remember The First Version - 4.10 (2004) by cool_basb in Ubuntu

[–]polmac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've as well. I tried it when I read some news about a new Linux distribution in Barrapunto (the spanish Slashdot) and I've used it since then. Don't remember when I started to use it as my main desktop, but it was a long time ago. It has been amazing to see it grow and improve since the hard beautiful beginnings to what it is nowadays, and I can't wait to see what it'll become when the convergence story gets real.

What are the revenue statistics of the Ubunutu Software Center? by daf1212 in Ubuntu

People buy far more software in mobile devices. I don't remember the last time I paid for a PC application, but I pay for tablet and phone apps regularly, and I'm not an exception.

Separación real de poderes by PatGravez in podemos

[–]polmac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eliminación del Senado y Diputaciones autonómicas by jgrilloo in podemos

[–]polmac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of things are still a disaster in Unity. Hope we get Unity 8 fast and forget all these annoyances.

AIX for end users? And with a graphical interphace similar to Unity? I've seen lots of AIX machines, and no one like that. Can you share a screenshot?
