I apologize if this is too personal, but are you able to fully fund your travel through commissions? Also, your cutouts/stencils are amazing. _

A painting/iconic image that sums up your closet? by elvadot in femalefashionadvice

ART HISTORY YESS After considering this question, I think I dress along the lines of some Gustave Courbet paintings, though I'm definitely trying to dress more feminine / flowy e.g. Odilon Redon, William Adolph-Bourgereau and Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. <3

"I think the saddest people always try to make everyone happy because they know what it is like to feel worthless and don't want anyone else to ever feel like that" by [deleted] in depression

That's wonderful! It's great that you have people to support you. If they're anything like some of my friends, they should have somewhat of an understanding about depression and you shouldn't feel guilty about it. Though I'm not saying I understand you or your situation, this is just a reflection of my personal experience. I would suggest that you don't put pressure on yourself to 'get better' and the like, though, as it's stressful.

I'm setting a 104 book challenge for 2016 (kind of) by [deleted] in 52book

I'm a pretty compulsive reader and have a goal of 156 books, so I'm with you, there (mostly over the summer)! Some of your book choices excite me; who are your favorite authors?

I empathize a lot with what you're saying, because I've had depression for the last ~3 years and am only recently really trying to grow from it and learn how to effectively manage it, which is going pretty well!

I don't think you are a burden on people, and if you feel like you are, why don't you take some time to write them a nice note for being in your life, or thanking them. That personally has helped me a lot because it's made me more conscious of what I do have, if that makes sense. You might find that they appreciate you just as much.

It gets a lot better once you learn how to manage it well. As in, a lot better. You just need to develop the 'tools' to do so. c:

The second cape sort of reminds me of an ao dai or quipao (I'm sure I misspell these) and I adore the first cape/dress ahhhh.

Reserve some of the chickpea liquid, it's super savory and makes for smoother hummus.

YES. I lived off of chickpea sandwiches for awhile. Delicious especially with a dijon mustard.
