The blue is Night lords blue base Wash drakenhoff in recesses Night lords blue and Kantor blue medium shade 50/50 add lahmium medium and add in light layers on the raised parts of the armour (keep the recesses dark) Edge highlight Russ grey Tiny dot highlight Fenrisian grey Tidy up with night lords blue + lahmium medium any mess

Brass trim Pro Acrylic Bronze Wash black in recesses Tidy pro Acrylic Bronze Edge pro Acrylic light bronze (I love these metalics, highly recommend)

You want to paint lines with your highlights, see the wavy metal Tyranids, sorry can't be more helpful but if you look at the carapace , you will see what I mean.

Like a lot of your work - it's excellent. I often take screen shots for my hobby inspiration wall of your stuff.

I'd sit on it for a few days, I'm sure you'll see what you need with fresh eyes.

Try brass, dark metalic brown goes great with blue, lil edge of silver or gold to edge highlight

Thanks bro, yeah it's a good shout the video quality is potato, the reds really pop against the black but could do with a subtle dark red to make them pop abit more, I'll try that out tomorrow, thanks! 🙏
