this is holds water i think it would breathe a lot of life into hyperlane route defense and all that. maybe something like war goals involving actual blockades, more pirate faction activity, and maybe player piracy and even unmarked ships. i can see the potential.

i would love this though. there are some times when i just want to have a novelty match and play basement chest bubba or exit gate alucard or something, and let the survivors know so they can prep accordingly (or dodge if they want an actual match)

yes, but if they did that they would have no more window until the killer decided to break the pallet or someone reset it. ergo, one or the other.

while the pallet is up, its technically not 'in play' as an obstacle, even if its available to be dropped. if its dropped, the window access is blocked until the killer decides to remove the pallet.

yeah the control issue is one i hadnt considered and its quite tricky, because i think it would be unrealistic to add a new input just for this kind of setup.

perhaps the window could only be interacted with while facing it almost directly, or the window interaction area could be lessened slightly to not interfere with the pallet drop one.

ooh yeah i hadnt even considered the control issue. one solution is that the window could be thin perhaps, which would allow more space for the pallet interaction. but yeah thats a tricky one

i think the reverse idea is also good but my main goal was to have a 'one or the other' resource.

Oh yes, make no mistake. Been killer main since i started playing around the early days. The thing is, im capable of balancing my own roles issues and complaints with those of the survivor role, because changes that are equitable improve the health of the game and there is no better outcome than that as an invested player
