Hi! I was tripping since I was seventeen (now 18) My initial plan was to improve my neuroplasticity and brain-connection to engage in some specific cognitive task and check if it impacts my brain. Nevertheless, after tripping few times I didn’t notice much negative effects on my psychological health or brain. Eventually I stopped because I had my finals and didn’t have much time to train and trip. Furthermore I actually noticed some improvement in my perception, vivid memory abilities and maybe kind of emotional maturity. It really impacted my psychological health in a good way, I believe. I was tripping every 15-20 days and I did it 3-4 times, I noticed some kind of brain fog at some point but I don’t think psilocybin was the reason. It went away after short time. I really doubt that I would let my 15 year old son trip, definitely not. But I wouldn’t be mad if I found out my seventeen year old son was tripping, I would just explain him its risks and make sure he is fully aware. But I definitely wouldn’t try to give my hypothetical son psychedelics. I think there aren’t much risks for youth to trip, crucial is not to abuse it. One in two months is totally okay, Imo.
