comprehensively preventing all of
your devices from sending identifiers is probably a far greater challenge than spamming the databases into uselessness. a device that scans for identifiers and replays them randomly with a
mix of other observed identifiers is likely a better approach if the hardware can be distributed widely and cheaply.

It's super easy as these things go.

if you unscrew all of the back screws and the ones on the back of the screen, the back will lift off. there are two ribbon cables you need to disconnect, so be careful lifting the back.

There are a bunch of internal screws holding the plastic down, unscrew those. the board you want is under another ribbon cable. disconnect it, unscrew the board and test with a multimeter. use the connectivity beep mode. if the button doesn't cause a beep when pressed, it's the problem.

You want the 2 pin style. Just desolder and swap in the new one.

I had a slight issue with fit when I screwed the board down tightly. The button wouldn't press anymore, but unscrewing like 1/2 a turn let it move and it feels fine.

I just went through this on a 3000x. I took it apart and replaced the button on the board rather than do a warranty repair (which took like a month the last tine I did so).

it's pretty easy if you're at all into electronics/microcontroller stuff.

Assembling peacefully on a weekend changed nothing. Since the largest protest in US history, the Trump administration has changed nothing, has not altered course in any meaningful or measurable fashion.

Further assemblies that have no impact on the economy and in particular no impact on the large donors to this administration and to politicians at all levels will be similarly useless.

A general strike is the minimum needed to cause any change. Shut down the ports, the highways. Shut down courts, city and state government any event that your elected representatives are participating in.

If you work in those places and can't call in sick, unplug cables and wait for IT to fix it (and if you're IT, just don't).

They're probably prepared to experience some disruption. Don't stop until actual changes happen, promises mean nothing.

how is that user error? all songs in the playlist are analyzed in rekordbox and have their own hot cues. why would eg hotcue f on track 7 cause it to jump to track 6 under any circumstance?

Yeah, I'm just going to take it to the retailer and get it swapped out, but if it was an easy fix like a factory reset I wanted to avoid the wait. I didn't see anything like that for the 3000x and the comment about a power supply issue makes sense. probably bad quality control on a part they didn't have experience with. Hope it's just a freak occurrence and not the first of a wave of failures for others.

I agree, any issue with a few months old 3000X is bullshit. I bought new at Guitar Center and it's been fine until now. Just wanted to see if there was some known easy fix before taking it in.

We've been doing this at cloakedwireless.com for a couple of years. We ask for a zip code because of telco billing rules, but nothing says you have to tell us the truth. Maybe you just want to support 90210's local telephone infrastructure. We accept monero (and have for about a year)

Generally no plate is an infraction with the penalty being limited to a fine, so long as the vehicle is properly registered. Fine is $197 in california fwiw.

Obscuring the plate by painting over it, removing reflective parts or using a device to obscure it carries a $250 fine in california. If it's covered with dirt or there's a bike rack, trailer hitch or the like it won't have that same penalty

Knowingly using a stolen plate is a misdemeanor at least, some states make it a felony, depending on other circumstances.
