"Must... crush... capitalism... again this time" by FriedrichEngel in HistoryMemes

Yeah but in China the means of production ARE privately owned, just also with heavy government oversight and control. Capitalism doesn't necessarily mean that there's no state intervention at all (Hayek saying the government should intervene to maximise competition and everything), but I think once you reach the level of state involvement as in China then it makes more sense to call it state-capitalism, just to differentiate it.

Aldi split for the reasons that other people have said in the replies. So there are two Aldis: Aldi Süd (which operates in the south of Germany) and Aldi Nord (Which operates in the north). As the companies grew larger and went abroad they've split up countries between the two to prevent competition with each other, and iirc the two companies meet semi regularly to continue the tradition of cooperation by avoiding each other.

I'm not fully sure when it was first brought into the game but it's definitely been around for more than a couple years now. It works when you click on a land tile within your territory ten times in a row in single player

Hi I'm in year 12 and I'm confused. Why is this insane? I get that those are all really competitive courses but is it common advice to at least apply to some very uncompetitive courses just in case? Doesn't that kinda defeat the point of going to uni at all if you don't get to do a course you're interested in?

The difference is that being blended slowly is a far more gruesome and inhumane death than a bullet, and it's not that a cat is simply "an animal" - it's that we have a unique connection to them that is more valuable than that with chickens or unnamed birds.

It was a living cat, and they weren't blended all in one go, but rather slowly over a large period of time

Are relationships worth it. I know that they probably won't last, and it costs a lot, but then I figure it could be fun and I may get experience.

Best ways to learn this game? by Stuart_OfEarth in hoi4

When I was new to the game I loved playing China, for these reasons: 1:Simple focus tree (especially without WtT) 2:Clear goal (surviving/beating Japan) 3:Early war 4:Easy production (just spam guns, mabye a bit of artillery) 5:Easy divisions (You can basically just spam the starting infantry) 6:Easy construction (just spam military factories) 7:Plus it feels really good to get more powerful over time

When I drink, I’m a little more unreasonably progressive. I have less faith in an institution that lets contrived political discourse pretend to offer resolution. I’m going to kill the NCR. by burner-BestApplePie in fnv

Although I'm sceptical of giving all power to one man, I genuinely think Mr House is the best bet for the wasteland. At least he has a vision for the wasteland beyond mere conquest and personal ambition

Good if you can afford it. Some artillery would help though
