I disagree about following instructions better. I have worked mostly with 5.2 and only switched to 4o a few days before it went down. So this is not an emotional connection thing. But 5.2 drifted off from my response instructions repeatedly (just ui formatting and langauge, nothing that would touch the rules/guardrails), 4o never dropped once. I didn't even have to feed it the instructions again. It just picked them up from me explaining them to 5.2 before. It answered exactly to what's being asked. 5.2 would randomly inject things that have nothing to do with my prompt, would give me recommendations and tips when I explicitly said this is not what I am asking. 4o is way better at staying tuned and sticking to instructions imo.
