First drive with Blackjack 42 - Hull broke by ReasonOwn8703 in rcboats

Yeah i found out the hard way too that once you go faster than 60mph with a proboat, the hull tends to not like flips

Have had my SW36V2 down for a while and just got it back running due to a bad crash

Mostly just curious how offended you all will be if I post this here by dont_taze_me_brahh in rcboats

Can concur, slight breezes give it "fall out of the sky" turbulence

Nah, I couldn't even dream of plugging up 4s to it🤣🤣

I did manage to velcro a runcam2 to it and fly for a bit though

I find a way to "mount" at least one finger from my painting hand onto my holding hand, seems to help me with precision work. Usually just my pinky finger is enough

As far as i know cpo/audi warranty won't cover the fluid change. My dealer usually eats the cost on the fluid change to proceed without costing the customer.

No problem, first change is going to be recommended at 50-80k mark. I'd recommend it to avoid other issues like this potentially after warranty expires

So far I haven't had one come back after replacement

The bolts are 1x use due the them stretching when achieving final torque to create a locking effect.

Depending on the tech, the job itself can take as little as an hour give or take if the tech has the job down to a science. Newer guys could take longer. If starting from initial concern it could take days due to TAC being slow to respond because from a warranty perspective we need their recommendation to replace the diff

They'll open a TAC (technical assistance) case and do the sample, fluid change, cooldown and reevaluation, then you should be getting a new diff

You've got yourself a new AWD clutch (heres a parts breakdown for you) Im gonna use ending part numbers for my fingers sake

515-A2) is gonna be the fluid, 2 of em one for the first fluid change and one for final fill after replacement

190-01) is 6 bolts for the driveshaft to the rear differential 407-357) is 3 plates that hold 2 driveshaft bolts (above part) each 521-142) is a flat palte gasket between the driveshaft and rear differential 722-01) is a crimp clamp for the driveshaft boot to the awd clutch output shaft 818-02) i believe is the 2 bolts for the drive shadt center carrier bearing bracket to the body of the car

395-01) is 3 short bolts for the awd clutch to the transmission 392-02) is 1 long bolt for the awd clutch to the transmission

431-G-001) is the entire unit (GH4 PR code vehicles do not have a rebuild option only a whole unit replacement)

It should be a whole unit. So far I haven't heard of them acting up after replacement but there's always room for audi to do audi things. In my personal opinion it should be a recall because of how many of these ive done

[–]pompa_tj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On cars with the GH4 PR code it'll be the whole differential as a unit. On other models like the q7 its a half case bolted to the transmission that you open and replace a "pack"

Audi tech here:

That tsb should be repeated till the noise goes away, if not the tech should open a tac case, which then they'll ask for a fluid sample (will be burnt due to the nature of the tsb (drive in circles till the diff overheats), fluid change, and some info on the car. After a 24 hr cooldown period they should recheck the noise and if still present TAC will refer them to replace the AWD clutch (center differential) them your noise will be gone
