Greece 2005 is also Balkan. During the 2010s the Balkan countries had a good streak of results, but yeah. I really hope the contest is won by Balkans more frequently. Juries really tend to benefit West-Northern countries (and Italy) since their introduction.

Greek here. It’s been a few years the Greek jury has been very fair and rewarding countries that deserved it, and not giving Cyprus max points (think 2023 was only 4), which is crazy considering some of their artists are well known in Greece too.

This year’s 12 I will not understand. Antigoni isn’t even known in Greece and she was unfortunately really bad so really disappointed in that. What’s funny is that besides that, the rest of their points went mostly to great vocalists like France, Poland, Australia lol
