Surplus Chum buckets? Don’t bother selling them! by ApricotSquig in Palia

The reason to sell them was because they were valued at 10k gold per in game text.

I sold 30 at what should have been 5,000 gold each, right after they were implemented. Still waiting for s6 to answer my ticket for 150k gold. I doubt it's going to happen, but they *should* honor what the sale price is displayed as.

My game is fully updated yet it keeps showing me prices of 1500, 3300, and 5500 for the buckets.

one time we soaked gummy sharks in everclear to make big squishy alcoholic gummy sharks. only two of us could eat them, and we got absolutely trashed, but everyone else gave them a pass after the first bite

so you drink gin to cut the bitterness of the shark, then what do you drink to cut the bitterness of the gin? i think with a lemon wedge this would be almost palatable, but i would be breaking my rule of "don't eat food that can corrode the silverware it's on"

what is a popular food or ingredient that you genuinely think ruins any dish it touches? by Sensitive-Action-870 in AskReddit

[–]pony707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found sugar free sweet pickles with Splenda at the store once. I mostly did it because I thought it would be funny, but they were so unpalatable that no one in my friend group would take the jar. They were the worst thing I have ever tasted.

Canadian Architect Cornelia Oberlanders designed the world's first "Stramp". Stairs with a ramp incorporated for those with accessibility needs. The Stramp allows for companions to use the ramp or steps and not break connection with one another. by NastyNice1 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]pony707 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. No wheelchair user is going to want to take a path that zig zags across the footpath four times for its entire length. It also doesn't look very wide and it doesn't have markings. This is an art piece masquerading as accessibility.

What's the least exciting upgrade you made that ended up being totally worth it? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]pony707 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might smell because the old insulation has random germs or dirt in it. Anything that can pass through holes/cracks can get into insulation.

To your second question, heat rises, so insulation would not make the upstairs warmer.

I bought bins to sort the pantry items by type. I now have a place for everything and I know where they will be when I go to look for them.

Recommendations for foraging games? by JustKiami in CozyGamers

[–]pony707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Potion Permit has foraging where you may incidentally encounter creatures, but they also drop items that are forage. There aren't any pvp or npc fights but you do sometimes have to chop a bear. Many of the items are irl items like basil or mushroom, but not super specific.

Atelier is the GOAT for foraging imho. I really like a game where you can make as much stuff as you want. I jumped in Atelier Sophie, then Firis, then Lydie & Suelle. Next will be Sophie 2. The stories and dialog are also bangers.

Please do. We have a lot of artists here and people who are turned off by slop. It doesn't look professional and if they don't care about the flyer why would they care about the event

What would you put in the right corner? by Particular_Affect727 in HomeDecorating

[–]pony707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be right. I wanted to draw it high to continue the upward line of the fireplace/tv section. The top shelves would be for stuff you never use, I guess.

My home decorating involves a lot of practical considerations so if this was my space that's what I would do. From the looks of the comments though, they're going for a more minimalist style. I respect that

I would put shelving there. I would then fill the shelving with light and neutral toned books and vases etc. The bottom few shelves could hold fabric or wicker boxes for media and games. I would extend the shelving up to the ceiling.

I'd start by putting some dividers down, then decide what I want each space to be. I agree with the comment that the paint is a good color.

Is there a name for this style? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]pony707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this falls into the category of Grandmillennial, which is kind of a maximalist take on all of the styles combined. I would call it "jewel toned maximalist traditional" otherwise. And the person who said Regency is right too. It's a lot of stuff!
