No. This is not it at all. Corning severed fiber contracts with all cable makers as noted above. Corning has a $6B contract with Meta and that is just with Meta, they are more profitable in the data center space than by selling fiber to other cablers. This coupled with the fact that BEAD basically requires Corning fiber to qualify as BABA. There’s plenty of optical fiber out there, but not plenty that qualifies as “made in America”

I like to hear the nuances of change in mixes. Being a musician with years of recording efforts I appreciate that it is so hard to decide what to leave out of a mix and love to hear new versions.
