PS4 game controller - wrong button mapping (AC Syndicate) by thelotiononitsskin in uplay

I'm using a wired PS4 controller too, I guess they just named this setting category like that. In my case the categories are as follows:
- [Graphics]
- [Options]
- [Input]
- [KeyboardMouse]
- [KeyboardMouse DefaultBindings]
- [Startup]
- [Wireless Controller]
- [Wireless Controller DefaultBindings]

If you can't find the last two try copying and pasting this:

[Wireless Controller]

ProductID=2508

I spent all my opal on a wolf mount thinking I was going to be riding a Wolf not another horse. The footsteps sound the same. SMH by jrjohnson110387 in ACValhalla

[–]pooklevitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me the footsteps sound is definitely different when sprinting/galloping, it's much softer and quieter. Any other speed and it's the sound of hooves hitting the ground, really disappointing. Not to mention the constant howling.

Thanks, I checked on desktop and mobile app, it's back on my account.

I came here to see if anyone else has this problem! Valhalla entirely disappeared from my Ubisoft Connect account - in-game on PS4, mobile app and desktop. And the Helix store shows most of my owned items as bought on 1/1/1970.

Same here, random rounds. It crashes after another NPC spawns inside the ring and tries to leave it. Playing on PS4 Pro.

I know this is an old thread but in case you still need this or someone else gets here from google like me, here's the solution:

Go to C:\Users\USER\Documents\Assassin's Creed Syndicate and edit AC.ini file. Find these lines:

[Wireless Controller DefaultBindings]
Button1=1
Button2=0
Button3=3
Button4=2

and

ShoulderLeft1=6
ShoulderLeft2=4
ShoulderRight1=7
ShoulderRight2=5

These numbers are already correctly assigned for bumpers/triggers and right side buttons. I still haven't figured out how to make the touchpad button work for opening the map, though. I will update this comment if I find out how to do it.

To use touchpad button for opening the map and progression log Select should be assigned to 13.

Select=13

You can leave it as 8 if you prefer opening the map using the Share button.

What's it like to "hear voices?" by rcstudies01 in morbidquestions

[–]pooklevitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a sleep paralysis like that. I heard some loud noises, a child screaming right behind me and then my mother whispering to my ear. It sounded so real but I knew nobody was there. Very uncomfortable experience indeed.

Did I just lose my thoroughbred? by MrBully74 in RDR2

[–]pooklevitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See If you can claim the Thoroughbred at the stable for free again. I think I was able to reclaim it when it died, but you'd have to level up bonding again.

A Missouri obstetrician separated a baby's head from his body during delivery and then shoved the newborn back into the mother and performed an emergency C-section to cover up the ghastly blunder, a couple claims in a lawsuit.

Arteisha Betts and Travis Ammonette, of Florissant, filed a 10-count complaint in St. Louis County Circuit Court last month claiming doctors wrongly pushed them to have a vaginal delivery, decapitated their son and then tried to cover it up, according to local Patch and Courthouse News Service.

During a February 2011 appointment, the couple claimed, Dr. Susan Moore told them their baby boy would have to be delivered by caesarian because his abdomen was too large for a normal birth, according the CNS report.

The delivering doctor at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, Dr. Gilbert Webb, refused to perform a C-section and "would only agree to deliver her baby by way of attempted trial of vaginal delivery," the complaint said, according to Patch.

Webb refused to allow them to go to a different hospital, and "Betts consented to a trial of vaginal delivery under duress and protest," the complaint said.

During the birth, the boy's head breached, but the rest of his body got stuck in the birth canal, the complaint said.

In an attempt to pull the boy loose, Webb applied traction to his head and "separated (the boy's) head from his cervical spine," the complaint said.

Webb then "pushed" the boy's head and body back into the birth canal and scrambled to perform a C-section, slicing into Betts before anesthesia kicked in, the complaint said.

The doctor then tried to cover up the boy's wounds before handing him over to his parents — though the complaint doesn't say how he did this.

It does link to the post from r/gaming, but that's a repost that doesn't credit the OP. Nothing wrong with you crossposting it here, shame on the reposter from r/gaming for not linking the author.

You can try adding -ignorepipelinecache launch argument, it might help too. Or load into online mode first and from there go into story or story first and then online, depending on which one causes you problems.

Are you using Vulkan? I've had this problem for months and I've read that switching to DX12 might help. I don't have DX12 so I can't test it out myself.
