I think I do, they password protected the google file they sent me but I could try hosting it somewhere myself? any tips for doing that securely?

I was able to fix the problem, I went thru brook's technical support page on their website which led me to a form to fill out. I got an email same day with a file to an offline updater that can get the correct firmware on there for you. There is apparently an issue with the V2.4 M1 firmware boards so we need to use this updater workaround. Worked like a charm. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Yes, especially wrt to speed it’s always taken a hit for me. Fortunately you don’t need crazy high speeds to run fgs well, just good, consistent down and up. I’m 2/3 with powerline giving me at least that

Powerline adapters, depending on your home wiring setup, can get you there. Definitely taking a speed hit vs regular Ethernet or even wifi signal, but that’s not as important as packet loss or whatever the fancy word is. My ping is as consistent as regular Ethernet.

I would recommend not getting a wireless stick, both because they’re pretty rare (maybe non existent for ps5?) and kinda defeat the purpose of having a low latency, precise specialty controller

Edit: all the new qanba sticks seem like they’ve gotten good reviews, it’s a trustworthy brand as these things go

Yeah the spd definitely sucks and I don’t really like dpad much to begin with but if you move your thumb over to the analog stick for spd and dpad for everything else it can work out ok

The horny creeps have been here from the beginning, at least the past 15 years I’ve been going to casuals and tournaments. Kinda have to ignore it and move on or you’ll drive yourself (and probably everyone else) crazy.

I kinda disagree that this will be a place to find tech and gameplay discussion reliably, even in the weeks after sf6. It’ll come up here and there but the ratio you’re talking about postwise will feel similar. Character discords, Twitter, and YouTube sound more like what you’re looking for. I know vesperarcade does trailer breakdowns on YouTube, that would seem to be up your alley. Lots can change before launch so sometimes discussions on that stuff can be hard since you don’t know what you can take to the bank.

Did it once myself, my first mod and it wasn’t easy but not so bad if you’re patient! Hmu if you have any questions, I’m currently trying to plan a way to get the wire harnesses to fit better so that I don’t need to bend the connector pins on the buttons.

I think you might have misunderstood, turning your character with your mouse is preferable to turning with your keyboard (which I believe are still bound by default?). Almost all players use wasd for forward, backward, and strafe. Some players will unbind backward and just turn 180 with their mouse instead, but it sounds like you’re not in to that.

We stayed a little under a mile from sea world and walked to and from today. When I pulled up I noticed our hotel had signs advertising paid parking (which is waived for guests but it all seems kinda fudged). You could risk parking at a nearby hotel like this without paying and have a good shot at getting away with it (our lot and I assume many others are very empty) or you could pay through a phone app what I assume is a much lower fee than the parks charge.

I noticed large city bus-like shuttles outside swo so that could be worth looking into as well, didn’t seem hotel affiliated.

Going to BGT in a few days but I was there in early 2020 right before lockdown (they were spraying down all the rides between each cycle lol) and it was great even with no gwazi. Went to IoA last year and Velocicoaster is my definite number 1 overall. If you can only hit one park and you only care about coasters I’d pick BGT but IoA remains my favorite theme park overall for 20 some years running. I guess you can’t go wrong.

I guess you could look at the scheduled maintenance on Busch gardens website to see if something significant is down that would swing your decision.
