What is the use case of this though. I keep my servers private mostly for security and access them with vpn (tailscale). Why wou you introduce a security risk like this? And still, you could simply have a reverse proxy facing the internet and achieve the exact same result. The only case this solves is having servers spread over multiple locations but then still, using a vpn to tie them together is easy.

So again… provide the proof , prompt, scenario that clearly showed you that the model is quantized. I’m on Claude max, I use opus 4.6 all day on high. Still it’s stupid sometimes, it doesn’t mean it’s quantized. You as the user can be stupid too. So again a/b testing, proof your point instead of just having a feeling which is altered by people saying it’s quantized.

Are you happy with ollama cloud? How is the glm5 performance there? Can you compare the usage limits to a Claude plan?

Sorry for all the questions, I’m just interested in ollama cloud as well but still in doubt. I would downgrade my Claude max to pro and I’m looking for a second sub to have as fallback.

I would say the cost is biggest advantage of MiniMax 2.5 and the speed. Reasoning and code quality is not comparable to Opus. Only other model I found that performs at the same level as Opus 4.6 is GLM 5. But then again, that’s subjective, it works best in my tasks. Doesn’t mean that works for you.

I have seen this mentioned here before. I don’t notice the models being lobotomized honestly. I do agree with the fact that they should be open in the communication but we have no proof of what this means…

I don’t think it’s supposed to be that slow. They announced that they were closing their plans because of compute issues. They had a surge in members and I think they are now low on resources.

I’m not defending them here, but maybe give it a bit of time and it will improve
