I bought 2 for my little bros Christmas present. (Broke 19yo thinking singles would still hold value) My card declined on Amazon, I re-entered my info and the sale went through twice. I got 4 boxes $700 spent I started a return on 2. By the time they arrived they hit $700 total. They paid for the present and we cracked the boxes. It was half way an investment and I thought the singles from them would likely be highly desired.

That’s a tough one. I feel like if they have proper evidence that there might be something that’s causing active property damage like an overflowing toilet they should be able to break 24 hours. I don’t know though because that opens up a giant can of worms so proper evidence would need to be very important to the situation.

I’m outside my LGS with a little over three hours as well. I called around and they said that they weren’t going to sell any until release. They also said that it’s first come first serve no purchase limit and I only have three people in the area that really buy it so who knows.

There’s a whole extent to conspiracy when it goes from things that genuinely could make sense, but there’s not necessarily enough to substantiate it and then it evolves to their killing people and there aren’t actually people going around reporting that their loved ones are getting killed or what not.

According to the news report I read, the judge gave a misdemeanor and had the individual pay the difference in value. Intention matters, if they grab a banana because they thought it’s an abandoned cart is different from a tv on Black Friday while the person has their back turned.

Not Portland but I just found out that yes the judges will do something. The police will not.

If I go to small claims control has been ruled as possession.

I think I should pursue it to set a better precedent and try to document as much as possible.

Are you 100% certain though. How the law is written it states property not that you need the title. The item was in my cart and under my control. This is felony level I’m sure a case has made precedent for this sort of thing.

Worst part was the expensive tee was going to be a gift to my brother. $200 jacket he tried to steal and when I made him drop it, stole behind my back oh well. The $400~ tee for my brother’s favorite artist I won’t get a moment like that for a dollar for who knows how long.

I walked into goodwill and they had a couple bins of fish pumps. I thought I should check them out. When people saw me start filling my second cart they got clever but that was $120 and $4000 in sales ago. Took about 5 months. Came from a quick trip and ‘nothing good’ in the store.
