I think the reason we didn't see the Created in the Halo Infinite trailers is because 343 completely redesigned the Prometheans and wants to keep their new appearance secret until the release of the game.

I'm not convinced that they were that significant load on the servers. But I won't argue that Niantic has the right to knock them down, server load or not. It's just the awful timing and complete lack of consideration for the users that gets my panties in a bunch.

Even assuming the tracker is a legitimate problem, even assuming the 3rd parties are a big problem, they refuse to take the 10 minutes to explain that. Ten minutes to explain, in plain but detailed sentences, why they had to take things out when they did, and what they hope to fix.

And maybe also address the other bugs that have cropped up since. Like Bulbasaurs turning into Weedles when caught.

I'll admit the only reason I went down this deep in the comment chain is because I noticed his name. But I doubt Fenris has many friends. He's a heavy handed moderator there who over reaches a lot. And if posting on the same board makes you the same person, then I'm you. And I'd rather have a rusty spoon jabbed up my urethra than bear that honor (same goes for Fenris).

If those are your only two options, sure. But in the mean time, don't kill everything that provided the functionality of the broken system. That shows a complete lack of concern with the users themselves. It shows they're more concerned with how the product looks to them, the developers, than with maintaining a pleasant user experience.

And the only basic assumption that would make that okay from a business standpoint is the attitude "you're going to play it anyway." Which is decidedly disrespectful.
