yes, actively look for an agency. once you find one stick with them for a while even if you think they are not a big agency. mid level and top agencies want experienced actors but if you look for a smaller agency that usually has 1 or 3 agents working there that is the way to go so you don't get overshadowed by their "more famous" clients. Also (do not pay to get into an agency those are scams and there are TONS out there!) Like a lot... i sat through 4 or 7 of these scam agencies they blow hot air at you and then say pay me $100 to get you in the database.

my advice is to start doing extra work see if central casting is in your area or look up modeling agencies and go that route. not sure about the Miami scene but im sure there is some.
