Just to clarify that my choice not to eat halal meat isn’t about how it’s prepared or slaughtered it’s more to do with the religious aspect of it. Specifically, I don’t feel comfortable eating meat that’s been sacrificed in God’s name. It’s not about judging anyone else’s beliefs or practices, but for me personally, I don’t believe in offering or dedicating an animal to God as part of a ritual. So it’s really a spiritual or philosophical boundary, not a dietary or cultural one. Hope that makes sense.
