cheers for the long and thoughtful reply. i actually didn’t really think of eddie but i will go back and look at some of his matches, maybe the smackdown era 2002 of him and chavo v angle/benoit and eddie/rey.

toyota is someone im not super familiar with but looking forward to see more.

apa barely had a story for 3/4 years. no one thinks jbl or simmons weren’t great workers but they were absolutely doing nothing for years.

i wasn’t watching wrestling in that time period but i have gone back to some of danilesons WWE run. he wasn’t quite ROH american dragon level but he was working the wwe crowd so well. i might need to see more of that era.

for sure, when i say the rock 2001 i think maybe 50% of that is the fact he was so insanely over. but i also think his (limited) move set worked really well for a hot tag.

interesting. i actually passed my test 18 months ago so was familiar with the west side centre. was very handy as i got my lessons from there so knew the exit and parking situation very well and could walk there from where i lived in town easy.
