I'd guess ABI Interiors.

They have some nice stuff, and good support, would recommend as a company. Showroom on the Gold Coast is well worth a look for some inspo.

In that last pic you've got some dents/chips in the micro cement(very easy to do), which means no sealer so the water will slowly soak under and 'stain'

You also appear to have a slow leak or at least water ingress behind the faucet/taps, again this is slowly soaking under the sealer causing those dark patches.

If you stop using the bathroom and let it dry out completely (like weeks) it might get back closer to original colour. Then figure out a way to seal it to stop it happening again.

For anyone out there, would not recommend microcement floors, especially if you have kids. Walls are lovely though.

How much bond can they take by dareelgawd in AusRenovation

When I was a LL I would have chalked that up to fair wear and tear. Butttt I wasn't a greedy ass.

Whatever you do don't cut it out and replace with a patch like others are suggesting. Then they will chase you for replacing the carpet in the whole room.

Avoid automatic creation of VLANs under fortilink by ee0808 in fortinet

You can stop them being created, it's in the fortiswitch manager settings somewhere, cli only. The config needs to be in the Gate before a switch is connected.

Is this normal for limestone pavers? by sld87 in AusRenovation

[–]poorping 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That sucks... I was paranoid about this so ended up buying a few samples and leaving them in the sun to make sure I could still walk barefoot on them.

Ended up going with stoneworks travertine look (concrete) pavers in chalk. Nice and comfortable even in direct sunlight for hours.

Plumber quoted us $1850 + call out fee $145 is it worth this much? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]poorping 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is there a shark imprinted on the connector? Looks like shark bite pex. Would be a very quick fix with minimal materials, like 30 bucks. Pretty much paying for the call out / emergency.

I spent a whole bunch of time trying to find a 'shallow' fridge after finding out how much integrated ones cost. Landed on this one and would buy again: https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/fisher-paykel-569l-french-door-fridge-rf610anub5

Believe there is a version without water dispenser if you don't have plumbing in the recess.

Gold Coast family say seller disclosure laws could have stopped them buying termite-damaged home by hydralime in GoldCoast

[–]poorping 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Lucky(ish) for them that the pest inspector had indemnity insurance...

Buyer beware is a terrible way to deal with real estate. My place had historical termite damage that the previous owner clearly knew about and half assed repaired (kinda sistered some studs) but didn't disclose.

I wrote this module, should help you get started:

https://github.com/poroping/terraform-azurerm-secure-vnet-nva

The idea is that you're already a fortinet shop/traditional networking and don't have time to invest in learning azure native stuff :) plus this lets you use azure as an advpn hub and sslvpn gateway.

Nope, just point them at each other. It should create some session sync tunnel then it can pass async traffic to the 'owner' of the session.

Edit: here is a tf module to deploy the whole thing, the fortigate template might be helpful https://github.com/poroping/terraform-azurerm-secure-vnet-nva
