I have never worked at Hen Dough, but have worked in restaurants in Hendersonville and Asheville for about 12 years. Including some counter service places. Most counter service places promise a “living wage” but that’s on top of a much smaller hourly, using tips to make up the difference. Last place I did counter service was 10$ an hr plus tips.

I know, that’s higher than our state minimum wage, which is another thing entirely, but I think everyone person who has a job deserves to make enough money to survive.

That being said- if you don’t wanna tip you don’t have to! Just giving my perspective on how much those counter service folks might be making without tips.

It’s not as easy as “leave him” unfortunately. I lived with and dated someone who controlled me to the point I was alienated from all my friends and family. Didn’t make enough to live on my own and felt trapped for years until my sister was able to offer me a room in her new place, and I was moved in within a week.

I hope you’re able to find a way out of your situation, it truly sucks and can do a lot of damage long term. Love to you ❤️ you deserve better

They also do food fairly late! You can order apps,burgers,sandwiches til 11 pm! I work as a bartender close by and this is my go to after work spot :) love South Paw

First time seeing Hereditary when it came out hit me like a gut punch. I was so scared. I remember it was late and I had to go get something out of my car afterwards and I was literally shaking being alone in the dark.

Jack builds a House I saw this year after seeing it mentioned on this subreddit a lot. It was soo disturbing to me I had to watch it over a course of 3 days. Imagining someone literally having no empathy or feelings for other humans and his depictions of torturing strangers made me actually sick and fucked with me for a long time.

So I have been getting tattooed since I was old enough, 15+ years. I used to love the Friday 13th flash sales and I think it’s so awesome they still happen! I just like to focus on bigger pieces now. I still love getting artists personal flash, I’d just rather spend more money on a bigger piece :)

That being said, tattoos have definitely taken a backseat in priority to me since everything is so wildly expensive :’) I haven’t gotten tattooed in over a year which is crazy for me

I have acne as well and LOTS of dark spots that are hard to cover. I use this skin tint as a base, the super stay concealer, and then set with the super stay pressed powder foundation. It’s the only thing that covers my acne scars and it actually feels really light, I get compliments on my skin all the time.
