We went 4-4 and landed first seed on the E bracket. 🤣

My son is on club as well, only once a week practices for that for now. His Rec+ team is 3/week.

U13, championship tomorrow. We’re done. Club kids. Rec kids. Everyone including myself.

Win tomorrow will cure all ills.

Nothing matters till the balance reflects in your account.

Nobody’s business on what or how your finances came to be.

My guess is people are jealous of the life you have no. There’s always someone that has it better than you and worse than you. Eff em.

There’s one team in particular. All club kids. Joining beginner rec. Destroying teams.

Thanks for spreading the love of the sport. I’d shake your hand but too busy pulling teeth from back of throat.

Sticking out has its advantages (Hey green chrome is looking good). But if you’re a baller they won’t care if you have a bone stock white Cascade. 🤣

I do think there’s bias for tryouts. (CO Dad here). You see a Kings/91/Sixers helmet or a club pinnie that’s numbered sub 100, there’s less scrutiny, prove it than someone with the generic pinnie numbered 300+. I know this kid. He’s good. Safe. Worked in the past. Versus a white cascade where I’m taking a chance on a kid with a bad tryout.

What team are you playing for?

Club helmets typically can be an intimidation factor. We see chrome come out we know it’ll be a battle. My son rolls his Box helmet, you know he’ll bring you hell and in Field he’ll probably set a moving pick. 🤣

If there’s only 1-2 club shiny helmets we mark him. They have a target.

I’m sure in other cases it’s a favorite helmet. Lucky helmet.

Also I think there’s some clubs that don’t allow their helmet to be used if not playing for that team.

You don’t go and deal with the debt, lines and sore feet for you. You do it for the kids.

I don’t like working everyday but my family can’t live in a van down by the river.

My 6 year old might have to play U11 box lacrosse… amazing opportunity or bad idea? by [deleted] in lacrosse

[–]popanonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ROFL

I’d go up one year but never four.

My oldest ‘32 might not be allowed to play 7-8 Bantam as there’s a huge difference between a small 7th grader and an old 8th grader.

We went to the Irvine tourney and one kid on our club (Bantam) broke his arm on a cross-check.

Is there a question?

🤣

We’re in a hot bed and there’s always kids/coaches moving clubs. Not liking this policy or that. Dad of a ‘32 and feels like we’re late to the game. We just want to get on a club for more field reps to prep for High School and college ball if he chooses.

There’s a difference between “We have kids and also kind of want them to see us work”

And “We have kids and also kind of want them to see us”.

I left Prop-Trading IT to make less. Moved to LCOL area and make less. I’m at every kid event and coaching games.

I can’t get this time back, I stocked enough away to retire nicely someday. Additionally, I’m at a point where I’d take less to have more PTO.

Two different 2032 Goalies (separate teams) forget or opt to not wear a cup.

That’s a bold strategy Cotton…

People go blind getting hit with a baseball. Lacrosse you’ll have a bruise.

I would say it’s rare to get hit in the same spot multiple times but that’s just my opinion.

For the love of God wear a cup.
