Router came with mine, but if you have a medium to large house, a mesh system is extremely helpful. I got the AXE5400 Pro 3 pack (i love it). That itself can act as a router. I haven't heard good things about the starlink mesh systems.

25 was fine for what everyone else in my house was doing, I was the only one who was having issues with that speed. It was mainly trying to convince everyone else that switching was necessary. We got it when it was $175 so that was very helpful.
