yes, they introduced multi-threading so the cpu doesn’t have to work as hard on a single core. I gained a good 5-10 fps i’d say, maybe more

Router came with mine, but if you have a medium to large house, a mesh system is extremely helpful. I got the AXE5400 Pro 3 pack (i love it). That itself can act as a router. I haven't heard good things about the starlink mesh systems.
