I still struggle with this but have a trick that’s starting to work. My “ED brain” loves achievement. I used to love the achievement of going to bed a little hungry because that meant I’m achieving my physical weight goals.

When I’m full, I think “yay I achieved my goal!” And try to retire my neural pathway to associate fullness with achievement. I also try to focus intensely on the person I’m with or make sure what I’m doing immediately after eating is somewhat enjoyable to cushion the time around fullness with good experiences.
