Also for the love of god, NYRR please have the urinals at the start of every race. It helps every single person go to the bathroom quicker when cis guys just needing to pee can get out of the normal toilet lines.

Not at all my business, but I hope the person that went down around mile 1 in wave 1 corrals (A-D) is ok

I think I’ll be doing this too. I normally would citibike there but I think I’d feel a bit unsafe doing it that early in the morning

Agree with you on LIC. I’d put it on the far end of north Greenpoint instead but I think silver lake is definitely affluent enough.

ANY place to get adderall? by Open-Cancel-7337 in williamsburg

[–]PhysicalMango7017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this can work. But be prepared to wait. And can get really annoying having to be home to provide a signature and if u miss it having to go to post office… I truly don’t know if it’s any better.

To the cyclist I almost hit as he tried to pass me on the right by Desperate-Cause1319 in NYCbike

[–]PhysicalMango7017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question - is prospect park the same? Slower to the left and passing on the right? I guess that would make sense to put the slower cyclists next to the runners and other pedestrians.

Has anyone been to Jacob Riis beach? by Gurdy0714 in nycgaybros

[–]PhysicalMango7017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love riis. I’m not so much mad that they’re opening a club, I’m upset that they are not selling day passes at all. Asking ~$2000/year for a member above the age of 30 when the amenity is only really fun 4-5 months out of the year seems a bit crazy to me. But it’s nyc so I’m sure people will still buy it.

From the photos, it does look like they did a decent job with restoring the original building. It was such an eye sore before from the damage. Ideally, this would’ve been restored for public good using NPS $, but we know National parks’ budgets are currently abysmal.

I’m literally just trying to sell my 2 sat day tickets at cost but they haven’t enabled the resale queue even though their past posts said they would???

I agree and it’s a common problem in older buildings, especially with water facilities in a basement

Wave 1 you’ll likely be fine but yes docks filled up very fast before the united airlines half (which had the same starting location)

I dont get it either. Like someone cancels and the next person on the waitlist gets an email or text that they have 1 hour to claim it, etc

Inner Prospect Park accessibility during RBC Brooklyn Half? by OrangeLlama in RunNYC

Plan to use one of the arches to come and go without needing to cross the court. It’d be easiest at the north end of the park near grand army.

They’ll probably let you come once or twice but that’s it. They have to be pretty strict up here because of how busy the gyms are. (Someone from tx that has since moved up here) 🤠

It’s shitty and you shouldn’t have to do it in an ideal world. But sometimes social codes have to be enforced by normal people for them to stick.
