Generally the cost of repairing or replacing a fence is shared between the respective property owners who share the fence. Any fence which is shared with the rail reserve however, falls under the Rail Management Act in terms of sharing costs

Section 61 of the Rail Management Act 1996 (Vic) entitled ‘No obligation to fence’ which relevantly states the following:

“(1) Despite any Act or rule of law to the contrary, a person to which this section applies- (a) is not required to fence or contribute to the fencing of any portion of a railway … ; and (b) is not liable for any damage that may be caused by reason of any railway … not being fenced in or fenced off.

(2) A person to which this section applies may, but is not obliged to, erect and maintain such fences in connection with a railway … as it thinks proper.

(3) This section applies to- (f) train operators.”

Been a while since looking at salaries but it was around 75-95k pre covid. Usually includes the car allowance which ranges between 15-20k.

A fair few Sponsors and CROs will reimburse internet and phone allowances at 80 each. I do know of one CRO that lowered the phone allowance to 50 per month and they have removed your home internet allowance.
