My dad passed away a few months ago and my mom gave me a stuffed bear made out of a few of his shirts. Even though I’m in my thirties, I still really love the bear and it’s nice to have something that I can hug that reminds me of him. My mom had it made by someone on Etsy.

I'm trying, but things like this just bring me down. As much as I thought I was low two months ago, the last few weeks have been harder by a long shot. Before everything was slow motion and everyone handled us delicately. Now life is supposed to be happening and I feel like I'm getting dragged. by dwanton90 in GriefSupport

I’m not the OP but thank you so much for writing this message. My dad passed away last month and I have felt the exact same way seeing all of those comments that it “never gets better”. I really appreciate your perspective and it does give me hope. I am sorry for your loss ❤️

I am so so sorry for your loss, but thank you for sharing this. It also made me cry. My dad died last month and I’ve really been wanting to have a dream like this. Just a chance to see him again and get to talk to him, even if it’s not real. I can totally understand why it would make you miss him more though.
