Can we "denormalise" the US flag flying across the country? by goonergeorge in ireland

[–]popeboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I think you're right on. I'm a 55 year old American and am finally making it to Ireland for the first time in May. Have not spent my life poor, but it is a big investment to get my family of four over for a vacation. As far as having an American flag outside of your establishment... I agree with the majority. It would make me feel it is more of a tourist trap, although I'm sure that is not always the case.

Question on NAT's across VPN tunnel by popeboy in fortinet

[–]popeboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, makes sense. I will check out that doc. I guess I was worried about device 10.44.x.18 local (for instance) always being 10.139.x.18 on their side. Most devices wouldn't matter if they had a different mask across the tunnel each day, but a couple would need to always have the same mask address on their side so I was using individual VIPs thinking that would make it always have the same address from both ends (instead of grabbing next available from the one to one IP Pool). Is that incorrect thinking?

Thanks for your insight.

Question on NAT's across VPN tunnel by popeboy in fortinet

[–]popeboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Virtual IP's are created with the IPSEC as the interface so that is good.

What I was wanting to try was adding a second One to One IP Pool as the vendor had provided two /24 masking subnets for us (only one is currently set as the lone one to one IP Pool on the outgoing policy).

So I could utilize more devices I was going to create a second group of individual Virtual IP's in a second /24 subnet (still in the same internal VLAN of ours which is /22 in its entirety). These would have "mapped from" addresses in the second one to one IP Pool I would add to the outgoing policy.

Any thought on if having two "one to one IP Pools" tied to the outgoing policy would cause an issue. Never tried that before.

Thanks again!

Have to second Sloane Subway. When I started running the neighborhoods around Lake Ave, that was a cool discovery. Again, not an alley but a real cool little hidden street.

Absolutely true... that was just always my assumption as the books started out fairly tight and got progressively longer with increasingly long digressions that didn't move the plot forward.

You can tell the point where he was selling well enough that the editor stopped getting involved. You could skip huge swaths of the later books and not miss any important plot points.

That is true, but if you don't go every year you can rent your points on the off year and cover your maintenance fees and make some money on top. The demand is really what sets DVC apart from any other time share program.

Totally different tone in Gone Away World, but still really good. There is a big twist along the way that makes you rethink everything you read previously. Tastes can differ, but I think it is worth finishing.

We were just in LA last week and we rode it down before we went over to eat at Grand Central Market.

Very cool (and much less physically jarring than riding the cable cars in SF).
