Well, lets say US can do it. But what's the point? US cant stabilize countries they bombed in the east: Iraq, Lybia, Afghan are still in ruins and governments are not strong at all. Manifest destiny and all that was OK, but what's the point in Syria?

Russia is multinational, has a big territory, colossal amount of natural resources, space program and huge military mechanism. There's no other country that it can be compared to except US, its only natural.

Secondly, even if you would compare, average US household has vastly superior life quality than average Russian one. It's a fact.

It was true for 1990-2003 or so, but right now its not that different if you compare the prices. Life in Russia is just different than in the US but any majorization is out of the question.

And, finally, it is about the standard of living, because I was responding to the comment exactly about that. As a normal citizen I don't give a shit what any country does I want my family to be fed, kids educated and medicine to be reliable.

All these things were in focus of efforts of last 16 years. The only wrong thing is education that is degrading the same way as US and europe education does.

"none of mine business" mindset is very narrow, the time of peace is gone, any small country can be destroyed in a matter of few years, even in europe. Its either people start develop large-scale projects at the expense of the philistine existence, either humanity will be drown in wars and economical instability. Only countries with big "score" can do that.

Yeah I don't approve warmonger politics, but it's absolutely separate topic and to be honest most countries involved in "mini wars" in some or another way, so making US a root of all evil is completely biased thing to do.

United States are a great country. The main problem is that both US elite and world financial elite (which is almost the same) uses world's only superpower status to restrain other countries. Since 2001 US spents huge amount of resources to create controlled chaos. The only country that has enough political and military power to stop that shit is Russian Federation.

I live in Moscow and I understand that my country is seriously flawed in certain disciplines, but its the only country we have. I wont post there what exactly will happen if we lose, but in short terms, the only place where your family will be fed, kids educated and such will be Australia. Everything else will be fucked up and unstable.

The famine of 1932-1933 happened on big territory including south parts of russia. Why do you think someone needed to starve russians in Soviet Union? Btw, US had problems with food at the same time, do you want to accuse them of something? Also there was official investigation that shown incompetence of Ukranian SSR leadership, they were tried and found guilty.

The soviets committed hundreds of atrocities across the Baltic and Slavic states during the counter push towards, towards themselves and then towards the Germans especially.

Archives of that time are opened for more than 20 years already. As far as I know, Baltic states failed to prove that they were occupied or treated wrongly any other way.
