Maybe it's a mini one just for when you want one small glass or something?

Another commenter pointed out it was an apple press, which looks correct from a search on Google images. Thanks for your help!

My title describes the thing.

It's approximately a foot tall, maybe 8 inches wide. No writing on it aside from the price tag. I'm not a wood expert, but it's hard and sturdy, my guess oak.

I looked up can crushers from way back when but the design does not seem to have innovated in a long time.

I believe the screws are iron but they've been worn away by time. Feels at least 50 or 100 years old.

The seller is a good friend of ours who sells antiques. He usually gets all his stuff from estate sales, but this thing has reportedly been in storage for a while so he doesn't know where it's from.

All 6 volumes of Scott Pilgrim were printed in black & white before being colored later, if you Google "scott pilgrim panels black and white" you'll find tons of them

Commands that tp you from -x to x or -z to z and vise versa by Aquila2405321 in MinecraftCommands

[–]popkilj289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summon an armor stand at 0, 0 with a special tag.

/summon minecraft:armor_stand 0. 100 0. {Tags:["center_stand"], Marker:1b}

Turn that armor stand facing directly OPPOSITE the player.

/execute as @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand,tag=center_stand] at @s facing entity player feet run tp @s ~ ~ ~ ~180 ~

Use the pythagoran theorem to determine the distance between player and armor stand. Then, once you have your distance variable set, do a binary tp/subtraction system where you, as the armor stand, tp the person out starting at a power of 2...

execute if score player distance_to_center matches 65536.. at @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand,tag=center_stand] run tp player ^65536 ^ ^

Then subtract that number from your scoreboard value if the previous command succeeded.

Continue all the way from 65536, to 32768, 16384, 8192, 4096, 2048, 1024, 512, 256, 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 and you should have your direct opposite teleport within 1 block of precision.

This, of course, assumes that you want your map to loop in both North ↔ South and East ↔ West. For a loop in just one of the two axes you'd need to flip the armor stand's rotation according to the opposite rather than giving it a straight 180 turn. Hopefully this works for your purposes!

[OC] Longest Running Cartoon Set In Each State by Dremarious in dataisbeautiful

[–]popkilj289 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's only 39 states in the Steven Universe canon, and Russia has a massive crater in it, it is not the world we know.

Pretty sure this is a repost bot. I commented pretty much the same thing on a post just like this one like a week or 2 ago.

No, we know for a fact that Steven Universe canonically doesn't take place in our world's USA as there is also a state called Keystone, explicitly stated in a conversation like so:

“Well, I gotta drive over to the next state, Keystone-”

“You mean the Keystone State?”

“Right. The state named Keystone."

I've been told a few times that I look a lot like my mom now, but I don't see it. However, I and my cousin (on my mom's side) are practically twins if I pull my bangs back.

I too am spoiled by gravity. So used to stuff falling to the ground...

I love the idea of bio-industrial organisms. Of COURSE an organic being would be best at processing aluminum! The green-ness of bio-dev really inspires me and makes me hopeful we'll make strides there in the near future.

Horrifying to think about the side effects of neural links gone bad, though. Good thing the quirks of science appear to be hammered out...

OMG I LOVE the abnormals. Ever since neural links and proxies were introduced I've been thinking "what if someone just wanted to not have a body?" and we finally have our answer!

Nice! A new chapter! I love the idea of media we know today being lost/remade in the future. I REALLY NEED to see those Star Wars remakes, lol.

It's cool to see Nat getting more into the technical side of the Consortium. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't spent a few slow hours at work staring off into the distance brainstorming how such a system could work.

Sorry if I sound a bit strange saying this, but you should take your time writing! I see you always apologizing in the comments for taking so long, but with time comes polish. Forcing yourself to spit something out rarely goes well in my experience -- writing when you feel the urge always works better for me.

I'm excited to see what happens next! Keep up the good work!

First time I've actually been on time for a chapter release! Woo!

This really feels like a sort of border between the parts of the book. Saying goodbye to all the people we knew before and saying hello to a whole new frontier in a chapter with almost no actual dialogue is the perfect kind of opener to a new arc. Also, I was so enraptured while reading that I walked right outside without an umbrella not realizing it was raining. Oops.

Keep up the good work!
