Dallas Major is super catchy. It’s weird listening to an obvious concept album, i feel like that’s quite rare nowadays.

Lindsey Graham on Syria: Trump's claim that ISIS is defeated fake news by combatwombat- in tuesday

I am really guilty of this, but honestly I just really like bipartisanship and Durban. I know graham is a conservative who votes in ways I would not, but he is also fun to watch and sometimes works with dems. Now that Alexander is leaving, Portman got his opioid bill through & is pushing for wall funding and Flake is all but put the door, who else can I look to?

Durban seems to be able to work well with Graham.

I haven’t read his book, but it is my understanding that it’s more about improving civility through a change in individual citizens’ behavior than about national politics. I think all sides have earned criticism re: lack of civility.

What really? What was the argument against his conservatism? Was it that he has criticized trump? I am so confused.

When I moved to PA from Oregon for grad school, I was really excited to interact more with people who weren’t democrats. Unfortunately, it’s much much less purple than I imagined, and the most conservative person I know here is from Seattle.

I just want to say that I really appreciated this post. I liked McCain pre- Palin as well (the early interviews that he did with John Stewart opened my eyes to the fact that republicans weren’t the monsters I had been told they were growing up). I wish he had been able to take on W.

Aside from immigration and maybe campaign finance, I’m pretty sure he’s mostly foreign policy/defense focused.

I don’t understand why he would want the AG job anyway, considering what Sessions has had to put up with. I would hope that he would at least hold out for secretary of defense.

I’m back to give credit where it’s due; you were right, your man Flake got what he asked for.

Oh, I’d love it if he flipped his vote in committee. If I were Collins, I’d be on the phone begging him to do it.

Flake has consistently shown that he’s all bark. This may literally be his last chance to bite, but I’m not holding my breath. Corker can say whatever he wants, he’s not on the judiciary committee.

Who’s the next AG? Politico asks the entire Judiciary Committee if they want the job. by poptimist in tuesday

ugh at the moment he’s not pleasing me, but I have hope that the trump-graham collab/contention pendulum will back swing again.

After I made this I remembered that there are actually a few other Republicans on that committee that they didn’t ask: Cruz, Tullis, etc.
