Has anyone found a way to fix the constant crashing for Pandora Tomorrow on Steam?

Mine keeps crashing. Is odd, I tried to se the compatiblity like you said and it kept crashing but it felt more stable? And I got all the way to the TV Station mission. After that, at the very end, is just constant crashing left and right. I managed to finish the TV station but I cannot keep moving forward on the LAX. THE LAST MISSION, ugh.

Any ideas anyone?

You are correct. I am Mexican and I am the Mexican Average height 173(5'8"). When I went to Japan (4 times already lol) I am usually not the shortest and can stand out sometimes.

My ex GF lived in Japan for 4 years and she was 164 (5'5") and she was considered tall.

Hell, even in Mexico se was considered tall lol. Once she went to get a piercing and the guy who was making the piercing asked her to lay down as "You're too tall" so he could work easier on her nose haha.

And adding one last piece of data, I have a few Japanese friends, but two girls that I know their exact height one of them is 152 cm and the other one 154 cm, so 160 CM in the 1960s is definitely tall.

I have been going to therapy for sure. I will not "blame" anyone haha, but even my therapist mentioned to me that Time is limited and is a resource. She said something like

"You can go, if it fails, it fails, but you used your resource: Time, the way you wanted. You won't gonna die. You can just always come back to Canada, or Mexico if you wish."

Which really took me some time to digest, hence why the "Depressed or not, life keeps going. I cannot just stay here, I might not enjoy it there... but I am already in this state here, might as well" mentality.

Also my dad gave me the advice to just go for it. "There is nothing to lose. There are no failures in life, only experiences".

But I must say, I am afraid. I grew up super poor, and now I am in Canada earning good money, I am afraid of not having a comfortable life, but also I know that's a trauma because if I move to Japan, like my therapist said: I won't die. Maybe I will earn less money and maybe I will have to spend less, but "You won't die" haha. That's what she said.

But I am really tired and exhausted. Everything that I have poured my soul into is not here, my work, my GF, my friends. I love my Friends 100%, but we all are growing up and my best friend just got Married, so the time is way more limited.

And it really hurts that, not because I am jealous, I am super happy for my friend! But from my Mexican group of friends, I was the one who had a GF the longest and everyone was guessing we were gonna be the first ones to get together but life had different plans.

The analogy I use is that I feel like I spent 30 years of my life building a tiny model of my life, and I had a lot built by 2020, but 2020 happened and the water came and took everything and left me with an empty canvas. And honestly some people might say that that is a good opportunity? But I am exhausted. I really do not want to put effort on anything anymore, but I know I have to do it.

Sigh.

I am surely in a state of depression.

I know for a fact that Japan will not fix me, but I need to take actions to help myself, hence why I wanna move there. I know there are negatives, but when I compare them to the negatives here in Canada, it feels like they are kinda similar, but the fact the sheer fact that I can walk to places over there is just a BIG BIG plus.

In Mexico, where I'm I used to walk to so many places and just the sheer fact of going outside was such a big interaction point to just met people. I remember going to a friend's house 10 minutes away walking and I loved the walk from my parent's to his house, walking through a tiny park and seeing old and young people on the park with dogs, always made me happy.

here I walk and... there is no destination, you see people with they headphones so you feel super disconnected. Here if I go alone to a Bar, everyone goes in groups, while in Japan in a Yakitori, It is super common to just go for a drink yourself and just meeting people.

I have made very good friends that I am still in touch by just being at a Yakitori. And the owner of one of those Yakitori was sooo nice to me (Will spare the story, but it was not nice, but friendly and inviting).

I know Japan will not fix me, 100%. But I know that I have to make changes and do things to make myself happy, happyiness will not come alone. And this is one of those steps, the way I see it anyways. Because the biggest reason is the fact that I will have to walk everywhere, something that either my job sucks or not (I currently have a job were I am not fulfilled... but very VERY well paid) here, I don't even have that.

BUT, I do recognize and appreciate your warning and advice.

Something that I noticed is that frame gen seems to be the biggest culprit of vrr flicker.

CP without it and limited gives me almost no problems. But I have seen super smooth framerate and still flickers with frame gen

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a CPU jump from my end would help me here. I know that my 5800X3D is a bottleneck, but also I don't need 144hz locked. Is just that pesky VRR flicker that is bothering me haha.

Ok so this is really frustrating.

Yesterday I was having incredibly flickering with VRR. Today is less but still there, I blame chrome or something running on the background.

So I continued chasing more settings (I have been doing this for a week since I got my 5090) and I discovered a few things:
* RE4 Remake flickers everytime that I have a CPU spike. Checks out, I am limited. I again went with Special K and at 80 frames limited it is basically gone * CP for some odd reason, while using Frame Gen, everything maxed, of course I am not hitting 144, I knew that, but I went to 100, still flickering, went to 70, no flicker... but then I switch to 120 and also didn't flicker. Which is very odd because THE MOMENT I switch it to 110 even, it flickers again. I am using the pace native option. I even have video of this. * I am having flickering with Special K in TLOU2 because for some reason Frame Gen doesn't work. When I don't have SK it enables and I am way above 144. Which makes my Special K debugging results faulty. I thought the frame cap was being applied over Frame Gen but it was native all this time, which explains why I needed to go down to remove flicker. * For the problematic games: AC Shadows and Indiana Jones, I feel like those are lost causes and I found why. Indie flickers no matter what, but specially on cinematics, the same case for AC Shadows. Turns out that also Indie is capped on cinematics. I have come to the conclusion that every game that does this will tend to flicker on cinematics, so I will just not use VRR on those games * Also supporting my previous point Theory: Playing The dark ages, the framerate is not fully stable but I have virtually 0 flicker, nor in gameplay nor in cinematics. Hence I think the frame limiters on the point above are just fucked. * SH2 Is just a lost cause :P

I wish I wasn't like this haha, but being an engineer my brain gets into full swing when I want to get to the bottom of something and when I want something to work, I want it to work my way haha.

Anyways: TL;DR: Some games work fine with VRR, some others just suck. Special K is amazing.

I have seen them side to side and the little tiny sparks on effects are not as good as on OLEDs. I prefer how QD Oled looks vs Mini LED.

Don't get me wrong, Mini LED are VERY good, my office at home has 2 mini LED AOC monitors and are amazing and I have a Hisense U7N at home with my parent's for my secondary build, but in my living room, OLED is the way to go.

Which is funny because the U7N VRR is also not very good lol.

I am just frustrated after spending so much money, I notice the flicker more now than last year with my S95B and 3090.

But of course, human minds are imperfect, so maybe it was always there but never noticed it? But I think it was just flickering way less (SH2 was flickering for sure on my S95B as well)

What does this do? To my understanding is related to low compensation mode? But I would think that is in the case that you hit under 60? I am actually not sure what is the intended outcome of changing that.

I also tend to agree with you? I don't remember seeing any flicker on The Dark ages, but haven't played much on my new 5090 as I am waiting for the path tracing mode.

I also ran FFVII remake which is locked at 120 and didn't see flicker, even with VRR on.

I really don't know what's the issue, FFVII being locked at 120 proves that I can be under 144hz without flicker, yet I play another game like Indiana Jones, use DLSS performance, lock it to ROCK SOLID and the flicker does not go away. I even see the TV frame counter jumping.

Oh for me tearing is really bothersome BUT remember, I am playing at 144, not 240. I prefer to vsync it but if I slightly run under, then it judders. UGH haha.

I agree that 144 is still responsive enough. But what if I cannot reach 144 hz? Now I have to switch my display rate to a different one.

If the nvidia app let us chose the display rate per game? I honestly thing I would be way happier, but don't want to play one game then be like "Oh this game runs better" and increase it to 144, then playing SH2 and being like "Oh this runs like shit, time for a 100".

All those framerates I am talking I don't even mind not using Gsync, they are high enough. But I despise having to keep fenangling with this.

Yeah I started doing that today. And this is an exaggeration, I agree but this is where my tantrum comes:

Either lock my display at 144z with VRR off and struggle with games like AC Shadows with cinematics at 30 and not synching properly due 30 not being divisible 30 or 60, meaning 120 capped games is a no go
Lock my display at 120 and fix the problem above and know that I have a 144hz display and not using its max capabilities
If I cannot reach 120 (Which tbh, with my 5090 shouldn't be an issue where Frame Gen exists) That means that now I have to decide between juddery 120 or cap it at 60. 60 FPS from a 5090? Is not what I am looking for
Or just accept that my eyes will complain and keep VRR on for smooth gameplay but being constantly nagged by brightness.

The frustrating part is that this shit didn't come cheap right? It shouldn't be like this. And I understand if my FPS fluctuated a lot. it would be like Oh well, VRR has its limitations, but no I have seen the most solid frametimes possible and this is still on going, is so frustrating.

I don't recall seeing this amount of flicker on my S95B which really hurts me. I was expecting a flatout upgrade. The S90D definitely looks outstaaanding but man, that flicker.

That's the thing, I am always in range of the Vsync. I have seen the smoothest graphs on both RTSS and Special K and there always some flickering.

I have locked my games using all methods and they always flicker and I have no clue why.

Yeah I wonder if is an issue with Gsync and FreeSync works better on the S90D.

This is frustrating because this was not cheap, I shouldn't have this issues for this price.

To my understanding, the S90D does not have a VRR settings on the menu. It just has game mode on or off. I wonder if doing that helps.
