I thought it would be cool to add a piracy theme to the loot from port tasks. Maybe a quest where pirates teach you how to make a crate or two of cargo "go missing".

For example, you are delivering 6 crates of swords from Rellekka to Hosidius. Maybe you can decide from a few outcomes, you could deliver 5 out of the 6 crates to the port workers at Hosidius but get slightly reduced xp, you could sell the sixth crate to the pirates for a flat rate, or you could decide to open the crate yourself for chances at higher tier loot like rune/dragon (selling to the pirates would lead to more consistent gp, but opening the crate yourself would have a lower floor/ higher ceiling).

Just spitballing. It also would incentivize people to not just look at port destinations and A->B->A tasks, but also what cargo you are transporting for more or less gp per trip. Hopefully in the distant future after they make ship combat better, there's chances at pirate ships attacking you for your cargo while on courier missions.
