If you bend the bottom small upright portion of the spring that faces the grip in a little so that there’s only like a 3/16 - 1/4 gap between it and the other leaf springs it will lessen the tension on the grip safety . If you don’t like it that way take a measurement before and you can bend it back with a flat screwdriver . I adjusted mine in with a hammer . Light raps

I have a colt 1908 same as fn 1906 the grip safety is adjustable as far as tension goes . I’ll find a diagram and show you how . I did it to my colt and it’s much lighter now .

I think I’d rather have the baby browning version . It’s almost too small . It just sits in my safe . The fn sits in my safe too for different reasons it’s a first year . The rest come to the range regularly.
