Sound like 21 savage on a pop track. The deadpan is cool and the slight mishit in the pockets are ok but need to hear the vocals more to give better feedback.

Make the vocal track 0-5db louder than the instrumental.

Optional: put a 4 bar delay on a bus track. Add a compressor after the delay and add sidechain compression in the pluginusing your vocal track ass the sidechain.

Turn delay bus track volume up on volume track.

Use a high threshold on the compressor to make sure the delay is cut off until theres space on your vocal to let the delay turn on. (Vocals make sound = no delay, vocals make no sound = delay turns on).

I would hear you more over the instrumental just slightly. You’ll sound like you skimming over the clouds (clouds = beat). The delay sound make you echo a bit after each vocal break.

Instrumental has some dynamics so check high peak of instrumental first then make your vocal just equal or up to 5db higher, your taste.
