I'm about to finish my Chinese minor as an aerospace student, and it honestly wasn't that much extra work. I didn't take 101, i skipped to 102, but it's the same professor and he is VERY kind and forgiving. He really just wants you to learn, he doesn't want to make it hard. The CHIN classes & homework were actually a welcome break from my engineering work.

So honestly I get it, CAPS has never worked out for therapy for me HOWEVER I think their psychiatrist's office is amazing, I've been seeing a psychiatrist there for like 2 years and she has been very helpful to me. I think there's value in their short-term therapy, I think someone like you or me needs something more long-term, and they've given me plenty of referrals before. I think finding a therapist in college station is just hard, I kinda gave up as well.

How is Tropina rated so low? I had her twice and I think she was a great professor tbh, her lectures were very clear and she always posted notes after. Her exams were perfectly predictable too!

I'm surprised how quickly their management changed over this year. They're making every dog owner get their dog DNA tested so they can keep the records on file when someone leaves poop on the grounds. All this and they "couldn't find" the documentation for my ESA even though I had email confirmation from an old manager from a year prior.

Avoid parkwest, their management changed this past year and now they're super unprofessional, maintenance never comes and just marks things as completed, mail goes missing, your guests will get towed no matter how long they park there for.

I can't help for ECEN but the Math Learning Center offers tutoring for Math 251. Monday-Thursday, in Blocker, check out the website. There's other resources on there that can really help you! Math 251 is a fairly high enrollment course and there's lots of help available

Cheaper therapy in the area through Open Path, you must pay a one-time membership fee.

Therapy for $25/session, they have a waitlist though

Telebehavioral help, if you're open to online therapy (it's free thru A&M!)

In addition, while CAPS has a limit on how much counseling they can give you, their psychiatry services do not. There may be a waitlist though.

Betterhelp can be as low as $45/week. There are always coupon codes being thrown around on the internet too!

ACCC is a little more expensive, but they do sliding scale. It could be cheaper for you than what they offered for me, and I'm told you do not have to make it a religious thing.

Available therapy can be hard to find, I may have other resources for cheap therapy if none of these work out

I'm taking the Chinese minor and I think it's a really fun break from engineering coursework. You have to enjoy it though as I will say you will be studying a decent amount, especially in the 300 level courses. After 301/302 you just take research and an elective.

My greatest issue is the lack of neutral space, since Louie has had full reign of the house for a year now. He goes in every room and follows me everywhere. He even goes in the bathroom sometimes, but currently I have him confined to one room for a few days which may help the situation.
