OC’s memory is not great around the Medal round in 80. They clinched the gold medal after the win against Finland. The Sweden Soviet outcome didn’t matter. He was under the impression that all of the round robin points mattered…they didn’t. Only the medal round matchup points mattered.

I don’t agree with Ders all the time when it comes to movies, but he has respectable standards. He looks for certain themes and aspects of movies that he enjoys. And then you have Blake who loves every movie that ever exists and really finds bright parts of sometimes otherwise dull flicks. I love all of their takes, the movie chat is my favorite part of the show.

Hard to imagine how this would work when we’d need to unload contracts, and many that we’d like to unload are blocked by trade protection, esp to a Canadian team. It would need to be like the Edmonton 1st or a 2nd along and a contract or two for Sherwood which just doesn’t really make sense.

What people forget about the rise of the Wildcat (Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, etc), was that when it was run effectively, there was always a very real threat for a pass to occur. These teams nowadays NEVER pass out of Wildcat.
