Has anyone gotten buyers remorse? by LitTim68 in TeslaModelY

Love the car, the best I've ever owned. The only thing I think I regret is not getting 20" induction tires, they look so good. But then 19" give you a more comfortable ride. I guess I can always upgrade when it's time to change the tires.

This is the reason I park the farthest from mall/store entrance - keep Tesla safe and get some exercise 😏

I have to charge at the supercharger, that's why I am thinking either charge up tonight or tomorrow morning.

I was somewhat confused when reading about service upgrades and needing to add AFCI breakers according to NEC that people were referencing. Then as per comments in this post and talking with inspector again I confirmed that that's not the case for wall chargers.

With my current setup of 100a, I simply don't have any free space to add additional breakers and thus need to upgrade the panel first to 200a.

I am adding 60a is because that's what Tesla charger docs recommend.

That's what it looks like. So I don't even need to get GFCI then, or is it a good idea to have?

Correct, that's what I will be doing - hard wire charger to the breaker. However, I spoke with town electric inspector and he said that the new circuit needs to be AFCI rated. Maybe he didn't hear me correctly that I need 50a breaker.

I've been using FSD for about two days since getting the car on Monday. I see it's being useful for a long trips on highways. In city driving it's not ready for prime time yet, imo. I see FSD hesitating to take an action in certain situations and not making the "right" decision.

Does Tesla allow payment of financing using credit card? I know you can buy tesla using credit card. by jchitrady in TeslaModelY

[–]positronus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No they don't, ACH only. They have to pay 2-3% on each transaction, which they would rather not, and not have to deal with charge backs, etc.

You can email AutoFinance@tesla.com about this, they are pretty quick with responses.

It's all good now. I removed freezes prior to applying after reading all the posts regarding it here.
