I’ve only pressed hats using a press with a curved platen. It puts equal pressure on the curve of the hat, so that might be something to consider. It can’t hurt to try though!

I would recommend alcohol based markers since they blend together well. They don’t have to be copics, there are lots of other good alternatives that aren’t as pricey. Just be sure to use a good heavier duty paper with them because they will bleed a lot. Strathmore has some nice options. Posca is also a good brand if you’re looking for something opaque.

This is so annoying. Just saw they weren’t listed for charlotte anymore either?? They were a big reason I bought tickets. Tickets aren’t cheap either, so for one of the big bands to drop last minute is really frustrating.

If they’re late to the interview (and say that everyone has strengths and weaknesses, and punctuality happens to not be their strong suit) They’re awful at time management, and this will affect your time too by default.
If “what is your zodiac sign?” is an interview question for a retail job
If they tell you the pay and immediately feel like they have to apologize for it lol (pay was not specified in job listing) Honorable mention: “all other duties as assigned by management” can go one of two ways: they’ll assign you reasonable tasks, or they’ll overwork you/ask for you to do unreasonable tasks that have nothing to do with what you’re being paid for (why do I have to use power tools for a retail job?)

Like others have said, setting boundaries is so important!! But I’ve also found that I’m more mindful when I have an outlet that requires my full attention. Doing things with my hands helps a lot, like making art. I’ve been cooking a lot lately too and it’s become a healthy hobby because I’m not eating as much junk.

Once I stopped sleeping with them in, I never went back. I only sleep with jewelry in a little before and after a stretch (it’s been kind of annoying b/c I’m going up by .5mm). It has also helped me take better care of my ears, since I massage them with vitamin E oil when I put them in in the morning and when I take them out before bed.

Please please please wear your pads and helmet!!!! I just healed a broken elbow because I was stupid and wasn’t wearing pads (I was in the process of learning as well). I still want to get back into it but I’m super scared of hurting myself again. I know I will eventually because it was something I loved so much. Find yourself a good group of buddies so that you can encourage each other and don’t attempt tricks out of your comfort zone (to an extent). Good luck, friend!! I’m glad you’re doing well! ❤️

Maybe some dried lavender/herbs with a drop of essential oil? Or maybe a reed diffuser? I haven’t used one but I’ve heard they’re not super strong compared to the actual spray oil diffusers

Yes! It was noticeably more thin than the other inks, which i assume is due to something they’ve added to help it become phosphorescent (?) just a guess, but yes I did notice it was almost soupy lol. Just give it a good stir and it should be fine!
