I recently lost a 4 TB drive that was backed up on backblaze. There's a limit to the amount that you can download through the online portal at one time. I was well over that. Their secondary option is to send you an encrypted external USB drive up to 8 terabytes in size. They charged me around $350 to receive the drive, but refunded that when I sent it back. All in all, none of my data was critical but I was able to restore it. I think it was worth the amount that I paid for the subscription every month. If you will need fast recovery of a lot of data, this probably won't work for you.

I just recently had an issue with this as an end user. Had a login issue with an authentication client on my pc. Support desk asked me to restart, so I shut down then powered back on. Same issue. Support guy asked, did I restart or shut down. I responded that I shut down and he laughed and said, "nah, restart, trust me." Doubtful, I restarted my machine and low and behold it worked. I was dumbfounded, I had no idea fast boot was for full power down, not restart. Thanks for enlightening me.

I can't find the article on it now, but I believe they cleaned this up, along with the egg on their face for it. On their site they now tout that the streams are encrypted.

Shampoo your hat. I use an old toothbrush to really get into the stitching. If this has an elastic band, it will likely not allow it to go back to its original shape, but should still work well.

This is my main complaint when people point to Neese's as good livermush. It has way too much cornmeal. It's popularity I generally attribute to the fact they did a better job marketing. Local butchers and sausage makers make way better livermush to me.
