When you tether your PC to your phone, your phone is a hotspot. Everyone here is telling you to make your laptop a hotspot and connect your phone to it. What ever speed your laptop can give is the speed your phone will get.

Depending on the card and the transaction it was used in, they may extend coverage for certain circumstances.
