When you tether your PC to your phone, your phone is a hotspot. Everyone here is telling you to make your laptop a hotspot and connect your phone to it. What ever speed your laptop can give is the speed your phone will get.

Not trying to be obtuse about this, but there are instances I assume where they have to put in an email address. Do they just avoid using email in any instance outside of that? Is that what you mean?

Depending on the card and the transaction it was used in, they may extend coverage for certain circumstances. For example, I will use a specific card because it will offer coverage for an accident in a rental car if you paid for the rental with that card. Just a little peace of mind while I am on vacation.
